We've got to go, We've got to go...

We're leeeeeaving (leaving) on that Midnight train to Georgia... and we have our winners!! Granny and Grandpa have guessed the correct location of the 09-10 TFR!! Way to go!! We're heading to a state where none of us live, where we've never had a reunion, east of Stephanie and the Mississippi, south of the 43rd parallel and Ellie (and Corey and Katie for that matter), and below the Mason Dixon line. We'll enjoy the southern charm, good food (home of Paula Dean), and nice weather of Savannah for New Year's!

So stay tuned for more details in coming days on our exact location... we promised Uncle Larry indoor plumbing and think you will all be very pleased :)

PS- Clue #5 is still headed your way... bonus points for the first to explain the significance.

  2. COOL!!! I have only driven through Savannah at a high rate of speed, so I can't wait to see what it's like. Now we all need to read "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil". The big questions is will we be hanging out with some of the more colorful characters from that book??

  4. Okay, Okay. Here is the story. Corey and I went to a liquor store to buy some beer. Corey had heard a faint sound coming from the back room and slipped towards the back of the store. Someone was calling out to him..."help me...can anyone help me??" It was coming from the bathroom so Corey slipped in and said" Hello"? A distraught elderly man, apparently the owner of the store, was laying on the bathroom floor. He needed help getting his pants up. So naturally, Corey helped him up and pulled up the pants. The man then asked for help tucking in his shirt. With all this going on I got impatient and left the money on the register and walked out. The man finally came out of the restroom with Corey and panicked, thinking this I had stole the beer when in fact we had not. Leave it to my Southern Family member to get trapped in a bathroom dressing someone to throw off a perfectly fine night! :) Buy the why - I have a bridge to sell...
